REFLECTIONS 2020

Motivational phrases and the beach during global confinement, gave meaning and inspiration to this series, in which during its process, my thinking, my feeling and my brushes were strongly connected, a path of very conscious inner dialogue where much of me is healed, built, dreamed and projected... a healing journey that took me to rediscover myself, revalue home, family and friends, be less selfish and more co-responsible, rediscovering the value of the essential and returning to the "basic", the important.

May the losses have been worth it... to be better individuals and a community.

The round paper symbolizes the global situation, the box-framed one represents isolation and the origami dove is me, you... in the reunion with ourselves and our habitat, and the flowers symbolize nature resurfacing as we connect with our interior and expecting both to come out brighter and more alive.

Changing Places

A global virus had to force us to confine us to our homes, so that nature could take back its space in peace, with freedom and flow at its own pace without human invasion. I felt the birds, the sea, vegetation, even the sun and the moon, so happy, that they infected me with fullness, order, freedom... experiencing an enormous connection with myself and the environment.

Sensation that shook me and moved me to become aware of the damage we do by living together without respect in their space.

Inner Journey

Faced with the impossibility of traveling to other places and countries, take a trip to the interior of me soul, heart and life... it was indispensable. A very thoughtful journey that will take us a year, where we go through the 4 seasons of our emotions...

an internal flight to my fears, my struggles, my loves and my dream... A win-win journey, where I discovered that only by enjoying the journey and living it with my heart, will I arrive stronger and fuller at my destination, hoping to be a better version of myself.

Peace In Our Hands

Finding peace during this pandemic is vital... the most precious value for me, is where love is born, confronts, strengthens, where what is important is valued, where everything flourishes... in peace we are filled with harmony and the essence flows.

My dream is that we learn the challenge of stewardship, without selfishness, the only way to move forward and achieve the common good in and out. Do you agree with me that peace makes us more empathic and productive?
